Sending your student to BigStuf for the first time? We understand that as a parent, you want to ensure they’re in a safe, supportive, and spiritually enriching environment. Here’s what you need to know about what makes BigStuf a trusted and transformative experience for thousands of families each year.

Safety and Supervision

At BigStuf, your student's safety is our top priority. We maintain a secure, private property with 24/7 security and a dedicated staff committed to creating a safe environment. All activities are supervised by trained leaders, and we adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure every student feels protected and cared for throughout their stay.

Spiritual Growth

BigStuf isn’t just a beach camp — it’s a place where students grow in their faith, build meaningful connections, and experience the presence of God in powerful ways. This year’s theme, “The Flip Side,” will challenge students to see life from a fresh perspective, inviting them to explore the deeper meaning behind their faith and how it impacts their everyday lives.

Throughout the week, students will hear from a lineup of dynamic speakers, including:

  • Noah Herrin – Lead Pastor of Way Church in Nashville, TN, and author of Holy Habits and Welcome to Manhood. Noah is known for his energetic and relatable messages that encourage students to live boldly for Christ.
  • Meredith Knox – Teaching Pastor at NewSpring Church in Anderson, SC. Meredith brings a powerful and authentic approach to teaching, connecting deeply with students and helping them understand their identity in Christ.
  • Raissa Kubandi – Student Pastor at Denver United Church. Raissa has a heart for the next generation and is dedicated to helping students recognize their value and purpose through discipleship and authentic relationships.
  • Gerald Fadayomi – Lead Pastor of Home Church Roswell in Atlanta, GA, and author of Before You Go and When Life Gives You Lemons. Gerald is passionate about preaching biblical truth to students and equipping them to navigate life's challenges with faith.

Community and Connection

But the spiritual growth doesn’t just happen on stage. After each main session, students break off into small groups to process what they’re learning. These small group times are where real conversations happen — a chance for students to unpack the messages, ask tough questions, and bond with their peers. It’s a place to build friendships that often last long after camp ends, creating a community of support that continues at home.

Students might walk into camp not knowing anyone, but they often leave with lifelong friends — the kind of people they’ll invite to graduation parties, room with in college, and stand beside in life’s biggest moments.

Essential Forms and Resources

To help you feel prepared for camp, we’ve put together a collection of important resources on our For Leaders and Parents page:

  • Camp Schedule: Want to know what your student will be up to each day? The camp schedule breaks down every moment, from morning sessions to late-night parties.
  • Medical Release Template: This form ensures that our team has the necessary medical information to provide the best care for your student in the unlikely event of an emergency. Your group will reach out directly for this information, so keep an eye out!
  • Bag Inspection Requirements: Did you know that each church/ group is required to inspect the contents of students’ bags before camp? This is to ensure a safe, distraction-free environment for all students.
  • Participant Release Form: Like the medical release, this form is essential for your student to attend camp and is typically handled by your church or group leader.
  • Code of Conduct: This is a great resource to review with your student before camp, helping them understand what’s expected of them to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
  • Parent Guide: If you still have questions, we've created a document with even more information for you to review.

Let it begin!

Camp is coming up soon and we couldn't be more excited to welcome your child. We're prayerful for this summer and the experience your student will have!
