Care for rooms, shared spaces, and other people’s belongings. Help create an environment where everyone can worship, connect, and enjoy camp.
Follow guidance from group leaders, BigStuf staff and interns, property staff, and lifeguards, along with posted rules, beach flags, and the current camp schedule.
Clear expectations give students more freedom to enjoy camp and help leaders focus on ministry.
Respect boundaries, personal space, and belongings. Harmful, threatening, or persistently disrespectful behavior is not permitted.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on BigStuf premises, including the Boardwalk Beach Hotel and Convention Center. BigStuf has zero tolerance for drugs, alcohol, and weapons.
Follow posted beach warning flags and all directions from lifeguards and staff. If flags or staff close the water, stay out. Follow posted pool rules at all times.
Keep food and drinks outside the Big Room, where worship and sessions take place, so the shared space stays clean and ready for everyone.
Scooters and hammocks are not permitted on campus. Follow posted property rules and staff guidance while moving around the hotel and convention center.
Wear clothing that supports a comfortable, respectful environment for camp activities, worship, recreation, and shared spaces.
Read the dress code →Return to your assigned room by the curfew listed in the current camp schedule. Group leaders remain responsible for supervising their students.
Respect hotel rooms, balconies, common areas, property, and other guests. Do not throw anything from balconies or draw on windows, walls, furniture, or other property.
Stay aware of your surroundings and speak up when something feels unsafe or someone is being treated unfairly. Tell a trusted group leader or BigStuf staff member so they can help.
Review these expectations with students and adult leaders before travel. During camp, supervise your group, reinforce the current schedule, and help students follow instructions from BigStuf and property staff.
In consultation with group leaders, BigStuf leadership and staff may remove an individual for repeated rule breaking, harmful or disrespectful behavior, prohibited substances or weapons, or actions that compromise anyone’s safety or well-being.
