Welcome to the Neighborhood: BigStuf 2026 Theme Reveal

What if the way you saw people actually changed the way you lived?

Not just your friends. Not just the people you naturally get along with. Everyone.

This year at BigStuf, we’re stepping into a theme that’s simple, but honestly pretty challenging: Welcome to the Neighborhood.

No One Is Ordinary

It’s easy to label people.

The quiet ones.

The loud ones.

The ones who are easy to be around.

The ones who are not.

We all do it without thinking.

But Scripture gives us a completely different lens.

Every single person you lock eyes with, every person you scroll past, every person you sit next to, is made in the image of God.

Not some of them.

All of them.

That means no one is ordinary.

Not your friends.

Not the people you avoid.

Not even the people you do not understand.

What would actually change if you lived like that was true?

Loving Beyond What’s Easy

It’s one thing to love people who feel like you.

It’s another thing to love people who do not.

This year is about pushing past comfort.

Not surface-level kindness. Not just being nice when it’s convenient. Real love that looks like patience, empathy, and choosing to see value in someone before they earn it.

Jesus didn’t define “neighbor” by distance.

He defined it by action.

So the question is not, who is my neighbor?

It’s, how am I treating the people around me?

Why This Matters at Camp

There is something powerful about stepping out of your normal routine and into a space where you can see things differently. At BigStuf, you are surrounded by people. Your group, other students, leaders, people you just met. This theme is not just something you will hear from stage.

It is something you will live out:

  • In small group conversations
  • During free time on the beach
  • Walking back from sessions at night
  • In the moments that are not planned

This is where it becomes real.

BigStuf partners with gorups like Youth Commission International to provide students tangible opportunities to bring their faith home.

Take It Home With You

The goal is not just five days. The goal is that this changes how you see people when you go home.

Your school.

Your team.

Your family.

Your church.

What if your world started to look more like a neighborhood?

Not divided. Not distant.

But connected. Intentional. A place where people are seen.

This Summer Matters

There are still spots available for BigStuf 2026.

If you have been thinking about it, this is your moment to step in.

Because this is not just another camp theme.

It is an invitation.

To see differently.

To love differently.

To live differently.

Welcome to the Neighborhood.
