The BigStuf Internship isn’t your average summer gig. It’s high-energy, deeply rewarding, and, if we’re being honest, one of the most fun and formative months you’ll ever experience.
Each year, we bring together a team of college-aged interns from all over the country to help bring camp to life for thousands of middle and high school students. From running games and managing gear to helping backstage and leading small groups, interns are at the heart of making BigStuf happen. But beyond the tasks, the internship is about so much more.

You should apply if… you’re craving real community.
The community is what makes this internship unforgettable. You’re not just working side-by-side with people, you’re sharing meals, beach walks, late-night laughs, and the kind of inside jokes that only come from spending a month doing something meaningful together. Past interns have walked away with lifelong best friends. A few even got married (no pressure).
You’ll meet people from different places and different backgrounds, all brought together by a shared passion for creating something bigger than themselves. And when the summer ends, the group texts won’t.

You should apply if… you want to be part of something that matters.
BigStuf interns get an inside look at what makes camp work: from organizing rec games and prepping supplies to running cameras, managing stage transitions, and even jumping in as small group leaders when needed. You’ll be stretched, trusted, and encouraged to lead in real ways.
But the most important part? You’ll help remove distractions so students can focus on what really matters: connecting with Jesus.

You should apply if… you’re not just here for a paycheck.
The internship is unpaid and we know that’s a sacrifice. But BigStuf works to keep camp affordable so students can come to know the gospel. By serving as an intern, you’re helping make that possible.
And while there’s no paycheck, the internship offers real experience that opens doors. Our interns have gone on to work in ministry, media, nonprofits, and more. You’ll meet respected leaders from across the country—people who might write your next letter of recommendation.

You should apply if...You’re ready to take a next step.
Whether you're studying ministry, production, communications, or just want to spend your summer making a difference, the BigStuf internship is a launchpad. You’ll walk away with experience, stories, and perspective that can shape your future—and a few funny tan lines, too.
