Journey Interns

Info

Why become a Journey Intern?

In the Bible we are given the responsibility to take care of those in need, build relationships with other people, and share the gospel with all nations.
Journey gives you the opportunity to do all of those things by taking a physical and spiritual journey to Kenya. Be prepared to be bold, be flexible, and laugh at yourself a lot!

Take two weeks out of your summer to serve others, build cross-cultural relationships, and worship God in ways that you have never worshipped before. You will be stretched, challenged, and experience Jesus in a new light. You must be adventure seeking, love people, and have a heart to serve the Lord in a different culture. Your eyes will be opened to things far outside your world, and you will watch how people who are completely impoverished trust in God, which will stretch your faith in ways that you can’t even imagine. So come... join 20 to 25 other college students on the journey and be prepared to have your life changed this summer.

Why Kenya?

Africa is one of the most impoverished places in the world and we have an amazing opportunity to serve the most wonderful Kenyan people through the contacts and relationships that The 410 Bridge has established.

Safety

Safety is an essential element as we travel to Kenya. Our team will consist of 20 college students, American leaders, and African leaders that we have established relationships with. The areas that we will be traveling to have been researched and visited by The 410 Bridge leaders and we will be with our African brothers and sisters in the areas. One must always take extra precautions when traveling abroad, and everyone will receive training on how to do this before we leave.
