WHY BECOME A BIGSTUF INTERN?
The main focus of the BigStuf internship is to serve, and through that experience, you will have an amazing opportunity to deepen your relationship with Jesus. You will serve the students, youth pastors, staff, band, speakers, and the other interns. The intern team is made up of a group of college students from around the country that all have the same heartbeat...Jesus. These people will become your best friends, so close that you will see them as your family. You will laugh together, cry together, work together, and play together...a lot! Before you even step foot in the big room at camp, the summer starts with some intense leadership training and teaching that you will value for years to come. Through high and low ropes, team building activities and camping, you will learn things about yourself and your team that you will take with you through the summer. During this time you will meet with some of the best leadership teachers around to help you prepare for the best summer of your life. After this awesome time of team building you will head to Kenya, with Compassion International, on an adventure that will rock your world. Your eyes will be opened to extreme poverty and things you could never imagine, but more importantly, you will see Jesus in an amazing and world shattering way. The lessons you will learn in this time will change the way you look at the world and your life forever. You will come back to the United States bonded together with your new family and more ready for camp then you could ever imagine! As an intern you will hear things you have never heard before, look at the world in a new way, worship like you have never worshipped before, serve and be served in return, but mostly, you will experience Jesus in a new and radical way. Be ready for a summer that will change your life...
